Job Description:
Star Children's Dress Company is seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy IT Help Desk Specialist to join our team. You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT equipment, and supporting our staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Position is on site 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and support requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
- Set up and maintain IT equipment, including workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and configurations.
- Monitor and maintain the company's IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Document technical issues and solutions to build a robust knowledge base for future reference.
- Collaborate with other departments to address technology needs and improve processes.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in an IT support or help desk role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with operating systems like Windows and macOS, as well as productivity software such as Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
