Position Overview :
We are seeking a Senior Dress Designer with a passion for children's fashion and a keen eye for trends, fabrics, and silhouettes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing children's apparel, particularly in dresses, and a strong ability to translate market trends into commercially successful designs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and development of seasonal children's dress collections.
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and techniques to create innovative and marketable designs.
- Oversee concept development, mood boards, sketches, and technical design specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the production, sourcing, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with brand identity.
- Ensure designs meet quality, fit, and functionality standards suitable for children's wear.
- Manage and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and creative direction.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to select fabrics and embellishments.
