What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Director position at RARE, Inc.?
Residential Director needed for DD agency. Duties include but not limited to:
- supervision of team leaders, direct care staff, house managers
- manage overall operation of residential homes
- performance evaluations of residential staff
- requires weekly review of all assigned houses
- act as a liaison between pharmacy, nurse, service coordination, day programs and physicians as needed
- daily house checks including check of all documentation and medications/MAR's
- maintain communication with directors of the agency
- conduct house meetings and trainings with Direct Care Staff
- staff scheduling
- complete monthly DD required paperwork and attendance
- work with staff as needed to increase skills with working with individuals
- oversee personal funds monies to appropriate staff and receipts for purchases
- complete check on weekend and overnight shifts periodically
- maintain contact with individuals and their families/guardians
- act as advocate for individuals, maintaining dignity and respect at all times
- report incidents, injuries, disciplinary actions, etc to director
- payroll/time
- hiring/staff management
- develop/implement policy and procedure
- knowledge of DDA/OHCQ regulations
- marketing program
- familiar with LTSS data program
Knowledge/Skills:
- able to work as a team leader, communicate effectively, good organizational skills, exhibit professionalism at all times, manage multiple tasks, make good judgement/decisions, be proficient in computer skills especially Word/Microsoft Office, able to work flexible hours and manage time wisely

Working hours based on need of the agency. Bachelors degree in human service field. Minimum 3 years director experience in DD field.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
