The Vacation Rental Superhero is the main point of contact for guests and owners; and is responsible for the overall operations and success of the business relationship of the homes.

Position: Vacation Rental Superhero (aka Vacation Rental Manager))Location: Throughout New Orleans Hours: Full Time, Friday - Tuesday

What You'll Do:

• Be the Friendly Face of Hospitality: Engage with guests through messages before, during and after their stay, offering a warm welcome and speedy responses to ensure they have everything they need for an unforgettable stay. Help guests decide what property is best for them, offer up-selling opportunities, and be the first point of contact for any concerns or questions they have.
• Maintain Spotless Spaces: Ensure our vacation rentals sparkle and shine. You’ll be managing and checking the work of our team of house cleaners to make sure the houses are spotless for incoming guests.
• Fix It Fast: Keep an eye out for maintenance issues and report them quickly during inspections to keep our properties in top shape. Handle damage reports as needed. Be a resource for solving minor guest needs during their stays like lock-outs or extra towels. Think of yourself as the behind-the-scenes hero ensuring every guest has a flawless experience.
• Inventory Master: Handle supply ordering and manage making sure the homes have everything they need for a great guest stay and the cleaners have everything they need to make sure the place is perfect.
• Update Pro: Set up new rentals with appropriate furnishings and amenities. Recommend new furnishings or amenities to owners with an eye for increasing revenue.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Love for New Orleans: You know the city like the back of your hand and can share your local tips and tricks with our guests.
• Attention to Detail: From the perfect pillow arrangement to identifying a leaky faucet, you’ve got a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills so that our cleaning and maintenance teams know exactly what to expect when they are dispatched.
• Friendly Vibes: You have a knack for making people feel at home, even before they arrive and will go above and beyond to ensure a happy stay.

Requirements:

• Two Years Experience in Hospitality: Associates degree or higher in hospitality or two years of hospitality experience. Prior experience working in vacation homes or hotels preferred.
• Reliable Transportation: You must be able to get yourself from the houses independently.
• Smart Phone: We use app-based software to coordinate daily tasks and duties with our Superheroes. Superheroes will need to be able to utilize apps on their phones, receive and send messages, receive and send photos and videos.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to go up and down stairs, lift up to 30 lbs on occasion, bend, and stoop.

• Ability to answer guest questions and coordinate emergency maintenance on evenings, nights and weekends
