We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest House Innkeeper to oversee the daily operations of our charming guest house. The Guesthouse manager will live on site full time.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience for guests.
- Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate cleaning schedules to maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the property.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and anticipating needs to enhance their stay.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement hospitality programs that promote guest engagement and satisfaction.
- Assist with human resources tasks such as training new staff members on best practices in guest services and hotel management.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork among staff members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining an inviting atmosphere for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred, with a strong understanding of front desk operations.
