Position Overview

The Talent Operations Intern will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing our mission. We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to support the Talent team in various critical human resources (HR) functions, including employee engagement, project management, and organizational operations. This role offers exposure to global HR practices and is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in human resources.
This internship is designed to provide meaningful experiences that will help shape the next steps in your career journey, particularly in HR.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support core aspects of the employee life cycle to include onboarding and exits.
- Draft HR process checklists for various functions, such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll changes, benefits, and compliance.
- Participate in Employee Engagement initiatives to include weekly communications for Rare’s “EVANs Program”
- Research social media recruitment strategies for countries in which Rare operates.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Targeted Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Pursuing or completing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Psychology, human resources, industrial organization or related fields
- Ability to work in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Well organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in the workplace
- Native or near-native written and spoken English language skills required
- Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
