Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a positive attitude, be a team player, and be proficient in monitoring and administering anesthesia. You should also be comfortable reading ECGs during anesthesia, providing compassionate care to patients and clients, and keeping accurate medical records.
In addition, you should have proficiency in setting up common anesthetic equipment, phlebotomy, and venous/arterial catheter placement. You should also be comfortable with various methods of intubation in different species and have a basic grasp of advanced anesthesia monitoring concepts, local and regional blocks, and CRI management.
