Veterinary Assistant
PetMedic in Edgewater, MD
Pay Range: $25-27/hr
What You'll Do
- Assist DVM and technicians with patient restraint and medical treatments
- Communicate effectively with clinical team and clients
- Comfortable with client education (reviewing medications, relaying treatment plans and discharge instructions)
- Obtain radiographs and perform in-house bloodwork
- Clean exam rooms and replenish inventory as needed
- Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner
- Warmly greets clients and provides exceptional service
- Entering new client information into the computer system
- Following opening and closing procedures
- Prepares client invoices for services performed
- Handles payment transactions
- Receives and relays telephone, and email messages accurately and promptly
