The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) works in collaboration with Staff Development, Patient Satisfaction, Infection Control, Quality Management. The CNE has job responsibilities in both Perth and Old Bridge Divisions and would have the capability of flexing into the numbers as staff in either Division when required. The CNE would be responsible for covering all shifts in both divisions. The CNE would ensure adherence to established policies, protocols, regulations, standards and be a Role Model Magnet Champion.
Qualifications:
Education, Licensures, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required;
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the area of specialty.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Nursing Education
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a classroom instructor in either a hospital professional development department or a school of professional nursing or 2 years in the area of specialty.
- Experience with curriculum development, evaluative methods, and contact hour application.
