Youth Volleyball Coach

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volleyball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching and a deep understanding of the game, along with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes. This role involves training players, developing their skills, and fostering a positive team environment that encourages growth and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective training programs tailored to the skill levels of athletes.
• Conduct regular practice sessions focusing on fundamental skills, strategies, and teamwork.
• Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Organize and lead competitive matches, ensuring adherence to rules and sportsmanship.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes personal development and teamwork.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance the overall athletic program.
• Maintain communication with players, parents, and school administration regarding team progress and events.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, strategies, and rules.
• Experience in coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage behavior effectively within a team setting.
• Skills in related sports such as basketball, cheerleading, judo, karate, or gymnastics can be beneficial.
• Certification in lifeguarding or health club management is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to convey instructions clearly and motivate players.
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, practices, and competitions effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
