What we are looking for: The Regional Sales Manager contributes to the company’s overall success by overseeing and driving sales performance within a defined geographic region. This includes managing a team of sales representatives, developing, and implementing effective sales strategies, and building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure the region meets or exceeds its sales targets. The role also includes leading branch operations.
Schedule: Monday through Saturday with Flexibility
Pay: $110 - 130k Bonus Potential
As a Sales & Operations Leader, You will:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives within the assigned region to achieve individual and regional sales targets.
- Develop strategies to achieve regional sales goals including development and execution of regional marketing initiatives.
- Ensure Sales Representatives are meeting or exceeding target goals and completing client site visits, continuously track progress and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Regularly conduct ride-alongs with Sales Representatives to assess their techniques and provide coaching for performance improvement.
- Build relationships with regional management companies that result in strong unit sales penetration.
- Work with National Account Managers to drive unit penetration in the region.
- Conduct regular team meetings, sales training sessions, to keep the team motivated and aligned with company objectives.
- Actively attend, participate in, and serve on boards and committees, as well as local industry and customer events, to strengthen brand awareness and build customer loyalty.
- Hire and train sales representatives assigned to the region in accordance with the corporate training plan.
- Drive client retention, address service challenges, and establish annual sales targets for budget forecasting.
- Provide monthly pipeline sales reports to the COO.
- Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
- Maintain working knowledge of market conditions, industry trends in the flooring and multi-family industries.
- Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and sales in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by organizations’ Senior Management
- Reviews production costs and product quality to develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of branch
- Perform monthly branch inspections.

Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) with a minimum of five (5) years of sales experience preferably in the multi-family industry, and least two (2) years of experience in a managerial role with a focus on sales management; or
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in an outside sales capacity, preferably in the multifamily industry, and two years (2) of experience in a managerial role with a focus on sales management.
- Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid Driver’s License with clear driving record.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position will directly supervise a minimum of five (5) or more sales representatives within a geographical area.
- Will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Sales Representative within the geographical area.
- Will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws; responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and managing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; managing time and attendance; addressing complaints and resolving challenges.
Travel:
This role involves extensive travel within the designated region to visit clients, meet with sales representatives, attend industry events, and engage with both potential and existing clients. Overnight stays may be required based on regional needs and business demands. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to accommodate client meetings, events, and other business activities, which may include evenings and weekends.
The position requires the use of a personal vehicle for travel within the region therefore must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and maintain personal liability coverage.

Work Environment:

- This position requires substantial driving to visit branch locations, client sites, and attend business-related events. You will spend considerable time on the road, encountering various weather and traffic conditions, so comfort with extended driving is essential.
- The work environment is fast paced, characterized by a high volume of emails, phone calls, and site visits. The noise level is typically moderate depending on location and event type.
- Exposure to outside weather conditions is expected. Occasionally, you may encounter fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
