Sprinkler Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of all sprinkler systems and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Install and assemble sprinkler systems according to specifications and local codes.
• Maintain and repair existing sprinkler systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Turn on and Turn off sprinkler systems
• Repair backflow, valve and other areas as needed
• Utilize welding techniques as needed for pipe assembly and installation.
• Conduct inspections of sprinkler systems using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot issues with sprinkler systems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections and repairs.

Skills

• Proficient in installing and maintaining sprinkler systems.
• Strong fabrication skills with experience in welding preferred.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
• Familiarity with pipeline installation techniques and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
