The Associate Campus Director (ACD), together with and under the leadership of the Campus Executive Director (CED), is responsible for successful residential campus operations, including enrollment growth, student experience & satisfaction, student outcomes, community relations, and ensuring all departments are working in concert to expand the reach and achievement of the mission. The CED assigns the ACD direct management responsibilities for Operations staff, comprised of Admissions, Student Advising, and supporting staff.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the CED to manage performance of Campus Operations staff, including Admissions, Student Advising, and supporting staff.
- Supports the CED, who has direct management of all Operations staff as well as dotted-line management of all Academic Affairs at the campus, to ensure all campus areas are working in concert to expand the reach and achievement of the mission and growth of total credits taught at the campus.
- Ensures quarterly goals are achieved.
- Maintains regular communication with all campus managers.
- Establishes and maintains relationships and regular communication with shared central services to achieve campus goals.
- Assist the CED in the development and implementation of the campus’ community relations strategy, including, but not limited to, corporate partnerships, healthcare site partnerships (directly managed by Academic Affairs), community & online reputation (e.g. Google Reviews), and relationships with local government, chambers, K-12 & higher education, and community/charitable organizations.
- Supports the CED to manage campus facility needs; collaborates with central facilities team to ensure timely and cost-efficient building maintenance.
- Supports the CED in responsibility for all campus reports including, but not limited to, reports related to enrollment, activity, oversight/compliance, admissions, retention, and surveys.
- Participates in the creation and implementation of marketing efforts.
- Leads the regular campus management team meetings in the absence of the CED.
- Leads the regular all-campus team meetings in the absence of the CED.
- Supports the team effort for campus and University effectiveness and dedication to the continuous improvement process.
- Participates in departmental, campus, University and in-service meetings.
- Is involved in the University’s planning and growth by serving on special task forces, HLC committees, and other developmental committees.
- Provides constructive input to assist the University in decision-making and growth.
- Implements and supports policy and procedural changes.
- Maintains a professional image, attitude and work area.
- Remains current in field through professional development such as: workshops, conferences, and/or course work.
Reporting Relationship:
The ACD reports directly to the CED, as part of the University’s Operations organizational structure, led by the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The CED, who the ACD supports, has responsibility for direct management of all Operations staff at the campus as well as responsibility for dotted-line management of all Academic Affairs at the campus.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success.
- Enrollment management skills required (Preferred experience in higher education Admissions management)
- Residential campus-based position with majority of work done at the campus
