Job Title: Corporate Travel Agent
As a Corporate Travel Agent, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of business travel arrangements for corporate clients. Your primary duties will involve coordinating flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services to ensure the smooth and efficient travel of corporate employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking Travel Arrangements: Researching and booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and other transportation as per the travel requirements of corporate clients. Utilizing Amadeus GDS online booking systems and negotiating rates with travel suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Providing Travel Consultation: Offering expert advice and guidance to corporate clients regarding travel options, itineraries, visa requirements, travel restrictions, and other pertinent information. Ensuring compliance with company travel policies and procedures.
- Managing Travel Logistics: Coordinating all aspects of travel logistics, including scheduling, ticketing, itinerary preparation, and ensuring timely confirmation of reservations. Handling any changes or cancellations to travel plans as necessary.
- Handling Travel Emergencies: Responding promptly to any travel-related emergencies or disruptions, such as flight delays, cancellations, or lost luggage. Providing assistance and alternate arrangements to minimize disruptions to travel schedules.
- Customer Service: Delivering exceptional customer service to corporate clients by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction with the travel experience.
- Expense Management: Assisting with expense management by accurately recording and tracking travel expenses, processing invoices, and reconciling travel-related transactions in compliance with company policies.
- Keeping up-to-date on the latest travel trends, industry developments, and changes in travel regulations. Continuously updating knowledge of destinations, airlines, hotels, and other travel-related services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in corporate travel management or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Amadeus GDS travel platform proficiency a must.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and vendors.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Knowledge of travel regulations, visa requirements, and international travel procedures.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and accommodate last-minute travel requests.
- Certification from relevant industry organizations (e.g., Certified Travel Consultant) a must.
