Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our fast-moving team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video production, storytelling, and post-production processes. While you will primarily be responsible for video editing, you’ll also assist with on set tasks such as lighting, sound and gear transport. The ideal candidate thrives on collaboration and getting the chance to work a project from pre-topost production.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing (Primary Role)
- Edit raw footage into polished, on-brand videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar tools.
- Add motion graphics, animations, transitions, and other visual effects to enhance video content with software like After Effects.
- Color grading, mixing and editing sound
- Maintain an organized archive of footage, project files and assets
- Optimize videos for different aspect ratios, purposes and platforms such as YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn and Google Production support and shooting
- Help in plan, scout and set up shots (lighting, audio and gear management)
- Shooting and assisting on set as needed -
- Work with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute compelling storytelling through video.
- Proactively communicate project updates, timelines and any blockers across teams to meet project deadlines.
- Align with brand guidelines and maintains consistency in style and messaging across all deliverables
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, techniques and software advancements.
- 5-7 years of shooting/editing experience. A reel of visual work
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Premier Pro, After Effects). Basic audio editing
- Comfortable shooting video, basic lighting setups and sound recording equipment
- Able to manage mulitiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Creative mindset with storytelling ability and a passion for translating brand messages into engaging videos
- Experience with conversion-focused paid ads and ability to create videos that drive user actions
