Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans based on project requirements and functional specifications.
- Execute test plans, identify defects, and ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.
- Develop and implement new standards for inspection, production, and design for QA test plans.
- Identify potential problems and collaborate with developers and the QA Team, to fix issues and, ensure the software functions as intended across various scenarios and across multiple devices.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes don't negatively impact existing functionality.
- Perform load and performance testing to ensure the system can handle expected usage.
- Identify test scenarios and prepare test cases for manual and automated testing.
- Create and maintain testing documentation, including test scripts, test cases, and results.
- Work closely with development, product management, and other teams to understand requirements and ensure quality across the entire software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years’ experience as a QA Analyst or similar role in software testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Understanding of the SDLC.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing preferred.
- Proficiency in writing test scripts, test cases, and test plans.
- Working knowledge of test management software
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Windows based computer applications skills.
