We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Office Administrator to join our growing team. This dual-role position plays a vital part in both sales and administrative functions, offering the opportunity for career advancement within the company. Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
- Facilitate the creation of new furniture quotes
- Take video calls with customers.
- Travel to meet customers in person as needed.
- Arrange for samples to be sent to customers.
- Assist the internal sales team in preparing detailed and accurate quotes.
- Ensure quotes align with customer requirements and company pricing structures.
- Manage and support the external sales team
- Serve as a key point of contact, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Streamline workflows to enhance the external team’s efficiency.
- Support marketing efforts
- Contribute to marketing campaigns, including creating and distributing promotional materials.
- Assist in maintaining and updating marketing collateral.
Administrative & Procurement Duties
- Process new contracts
- Accurately record customer contracts in the company’s system.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure contract details are processed smoothly.
- Handle purchasing for the shop
- Guide customers through the selection of fabric, vinyl, and stain options.
- Ensure selections meet company standards and customer preferences.
- Other duties as assigned
- Provide additional support to the sales and administrative teams as needed.
- Assist with various tasks to contribute to overall company efficiency.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in sales, administration, or a related role.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and handle rejection with professionalism and persistence.
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
Professionalism
- Understanding of appropriate business attire and etiquette for in-person meetings.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with the furniture or manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in purchasing, inventory management, or contract administration is highly desirable.
- A passion for building relationships and achieving sales success.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
