Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring efficient and accurate data ingestion processes within our laboratory environment. The Data Integration Specialist will collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, and IT professionals to facilitate the seamless integration of data from various sources into our systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain data ingestion pipelines, electronic lab notebooks (ELNs), and other relevant platforms.

- Collaborate with laboratory staff to understand data requirements and workflows, ensuring smooth data capture and integration.

- Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.

- Perform data quality assessments and troubleshooting to identify and resolve data integration issues promptly.

- Work closely with IT and software development teams to enhance data integration capabilities and optimize system performance.

- Ensure compliance with data governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Provide training and technical support to laboratory personnel on data entry, validation, and integration best practices.

- Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to data management and integration.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Bioinformatics, or a related field

- Familiarity in data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data pipeline development.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data integration issues.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry is a plus.
