RATP Dev USA is hiring for Paratransit Drivers for the Mountain Mobility-Buncombe County location!!!

NO CDL Required!

General Responsibilities

Responsible for operating assigned paratransit vehicles in a safe, reliable and professional manner, while being courteous, patient and helpful to all passengers.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Collects the proper fares
• Answers passenger questions politely and accurately, which includes questions regarding directions, schedule information and fares.
• Ensure that the passenger has a comfortable and safe trip.
• Abides by all traffic regulations and laws as well as all company policies and procedures.
• Properly completes all required paperwork, including but not limited to, time cards, pre-operational bus inspections, accident reports, mechanical defect cards, and other applicable forms or reports.
• Report for duty promptly being appropriately dressed in the company uniform as well as maintaining a neat, clean, and well groomed appearance.
• Reports all accidents, emergencies and incidents immediately.
• Assists elderly and disabled individuals, as required.
• Issues transfers as necessary.
• Avoids arguments of any nature.
• Calls for assistance and help if needed.
  
  

Qualifications and Skills Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with proper classification or obtain same by the end of the training program.

• No previous professional driving experience required
• No operator’s license suspensions in the past five years
• Pass pre-employment DOT physical including a drug screen
• Complete an employment application
• Complete on-board training
