Maintains a safe and secure work environment, including correcting unsafe acts/conditions
Functional and disciplinary responsibility for assigned employees
Responsible for team management and coordination of logistics
Manages incoming goods (purchase and production), warehouse operations, outbound goods, and customer communication relevant to logistics topics
Oversees forklift, fleet, and personnel management
Receives, stores, and loads goods
Manages optimal space allocation with facilities
Manages inbound and outbound warehouse space
Ensures correct and timely execution of inventory stock counts
Processes returns to include returns of empty packaging
Predicts resources needed to reach objectives and manages resources in an effective and efficient manner
Prepares budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements
Develops and manages a detailed project schedule and work plane
Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments and progress
Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards
Monitors progress and adjusts as needed
Performs risk management to minimize project risks
Maintains a safe and secure work environment, including correcting unsafe acts/conditions
Establishes and maintains an employee relations climate of trust and confidence, promoting achievement of plant objectives
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and storage to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all warehouse activities
Lead and develop warehouse staff to maintain high performance and operational excellence
Collaborate closely with production, procurement, quality control, and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with manufacturing schedules and distribution goals
Communicate with supply chain and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and address any inventory-related issues
Work with finance and procurement departments to manage budgetary constraints, optimize costs, and ensure accurate inventory reporting
Implement and improve warehouse management systems, leveraging technology such as SAP and Microsoft products for efficient data tracking and reporting
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR TO JOIN OUR FAMILY?
2-5 years of relevant warehouse/materials management experience; experience in one of the following fields: beverage or packaging preferred
3-5 years of Manager experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Warehouse Management and business management system (SAP) experience
1 years management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel
