Responsibilities
- Conduct job site audits and submit audits to management
- Updating the safety audit scoring guide
- Distributing and replacing PPE onsite
- Conduct on-site Operations training
- Safety Stand-Downs
- Supervisor / Superintendent requested field training
- Impromptu training that may arise (or be the result of observations made) during job site safety visits for the purpose of documenting Job Site Safety Audits.
- Answer questions regarding company policies, procedures and guidelines
- Researching safety related questions and identifying any legal standing behind them
- Participating in safety team and committee meetings
- Highlighting areas of concern to management
- Participate in incident investigations
- Develop and conduct on-site and classroom safety training:
- CPR/FA, PPE, Incident Investigation
- Annual Refresher training
- DTE Annual REI Training
- Job-related
- Customer requested training
- Assisting Safety Department in maintaining PPE Stock
- Other tasks as assigned by the Safety Manager
