Position Summary
Primary role will be to support the Engineers in the design, entitlement, development, and approval process within Residential Land Department.
This position is Full Time with benefits.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Engineers with the preparation of construction plans for land development projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Create construction drawings with input from Project Engineers
- Responsible for submitting and tracking various components of engineering approvals/submittals to cities and contractors
- Assist with engineering documents required for vendors regarding bidding
- Maintains confidentiality always while performing job-related duties
- Ability to drive to multiple different towns/cities to deliver engineering plans, make document submittals, and pickup supplies as needed
- Additional duties as required
Requirements
- At least one year in an office environment
- Works independently and within the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects, which may include, planning and coordinating multiple presentations and disseminating information
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
- Maintains a positive attitude and has the ability receive direction and coaching
- Maintains confidentiality always while performing job-related duties
- Willingness to "go the extra mile" to achieve goals and objectives
- Dependable Vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in preparation of construction plans for land development projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Physical Demands
- Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and frequently moving small objects
- Frequently sitting for long periods of time
- Walking or standing occasionally
- Must have manual use of hands and vision to use computer constantly
- Must be able to drive and use stairs
