Description
As our Marketing & Communications Specialist based at our home office in Fayetteville, AR, you will be building and implementing strategic marketing and communications initiatives to elevate our brand, engage target audiences, and support business objectives. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, graphic design, strong understanding and proficiency in various marketing and social media channels, and an ability to manage multiple projects. Essential job functions include:
Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing and Social Media
- Develop engaging content for social media, websites, digital platforms, and other marketing materials that align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence.
- Create reports on the effectiveness of marketing and communication strategies and campaigns, using data and insights to continuously improve and refine approaches.
- Create, refine, and oversee the production of promotional assets, including signage, presentations, videos, ads, brochures, and other items in both print and digital formats.
- Understand keyword research and use SEO best practices to optimize content.
Public Affairs and Communications
- Write and distribute press releases and media kits.
- Monitor media coverage.
- Assist in strategy, planning, and execution of local events, community initiatives, and corporate sponsorships - maximizing brand opportunity.
- Manage and build vendor relationships such as printers, photographers, videographers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, social media, public relations, and content creation.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
- Experience with paid social media advertising.
- Proficiency in social media management tools.
- Knowledge of SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- · Manage multiple marketing and public affairs projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Physical Demands
