Debt Resolution Specialist- Collections Responsibilities
- Negotiates debt repayment with consumers. Listens carefully to what they say, ask good questions and overcome obstacles. Obtains firm agreements to repay debt in a timely manner.
- Receives and makes telephone contact with consumers.
- Makes informed decisions based on consumers’ needs, account balances and business’ standard operating procedures.
- Maintains and updates consumer account data to accurately reflect current status.
- Maintains quality standards. Comply with applicable laws and regulations governing third party collections, such as the FDCPA.
- Participates in other assigned activities.
Debt Resolution Specialist- Collections Qualifications
- Must Complete the typing assessment.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a keyboard and mouse.
- You’re able to communicate effectively, with attention to detail. You must deliver customer-centric solutions while achieving results, even under tough circumstances.
- Being bilingual is a plus.
