Position Overview:
This position centers around leading and facilitating Live Environment Training (LET) exercises to enhance the tactical proficiency and readiness of military or defense personnel. This role involves developing, coordinating, and executing field training exercises (FTX) in realistic environments that simulate real-world scenarios.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and execute Live Environment Training (LET) exercises to improve tactical skills and readiness of military units or defense personnel.
- Coordinate and conduct field training exercises (FTX) to simulate real-world scenarios and enhance unit performance in various operational environments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and implement LET scenarios that align with mission objectives and current operational challenges.
- Evaluate and analyze training outcomes through comprehensive after-action reviews (AARs) and feedback sessions to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior trainers and exercise support staff during LET exercises.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to regulations during training exercises.
- Stay updated with evolving military tactics, technologies, and procedures to integrate into training scenarios.
- Other duties as within the scope of the program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in military science, Defense Studies, or related field.
- Eight (8) years’ experience in instructional development, specifically in Live Environment Training (LET) or field training exercises (FTX).
- In-depth knowledge of military operations, tactics, and collective training methodologies.
- Qualified to operate at least two Army MCIS
- Eight years’ experience Military training and training support.
- Completed the Army Command & General Staff College (CGSC), Intermediate Level Education (ILE), the Army Warrant Officer Advanced Course, or served as an Operations Sergeant Major or Operations Sergeant at the Battalion level.
- Ability to ensure safety and compliance during field exercises.
- Must possess a SECRET clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
