What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Roleplayer position at Raven Advisory?
Raven Medical is seeking medical role players that are needed to participate in realistic, real-world medical training scenarios for our clients. The candidate must be a certain level of actor, who is willing to portray various traumatic injury patterns as directed by the instructor. This may include dramatization, screaming, moaning, writhing in pain and more. Realism is key. Proper accommodations will be provided.
Qualifications:
· Must be local or willing to travel to the Fayetteville/Laurinburg/Maxton, NC area.
· Must be able to follow directions, act out role as directed, and communicate effectively.
· Ability to work under stressful conditions.
· Must be comfortable with personnel performing treatments based on the medical scenario requirements (e.g., intravenous (IV) access, patient movement, lie on stretcher for extended periods of time, blood pressure cuffs, temperature being taken, possible dummy parts being used for medical teaching etc.).
· Ability to sit, stand, lay in positions for a significant amount of time.
· Ability to work around pyrotechnics, simulated small arms fire, strobe lights, fog machines, screams, explosion sounds and artificial blood.
