We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Retail Team Member to join our dynamic team. As the face of our store, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and address any concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Utilize strong retail math skills to accurately handle cash, operate a cash register, and process transactions
- Provide customers with product information, demonstrate features and benefits, and recommend products based on their needs
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and tidying up the store
- Utilize phone etiquette skills to effectively communicate with customers via phone and resolve any issues
- Identify and seize opportunities to upsell and increase sales
- Maintain a strong knowledge of products and their features, including product descriptions and specifications
- Utilize basic math skills to accurately count and manage cash and inventory
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, including providing feedback and support to improve overall store performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail customer service, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong retail math skills, including the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to sell products effectively and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills, including the ability to count and manage cash and inventory
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
