- Support the launch of our European-sourced Direct Import program and the expansion of our Asia-sourced Direct Imports program by compiling wholesale customer requirements, codifying clear business practices, training int’l colleagues on all customer needs, and liaising closely with internal project- and technical- resources
- Provide ongoing guidance and assistance to other departments/divisions within the local- and Int’l- organizations, working closely with Sourcing, Logistics, Purchasing, Sales, and Accounting
- Use ERP system to create sales orders and purchase orders for submission to sourcing partners
- Follow – and innovate – processes to ensure effective workflow within- and between- departments
- Drive problem resolution that results from challenges in external networks, e.g., with third-party freight forwarders and contracted factories
- Manage order backlog and advise internal stakeholders about both obstacles and revenue timing expectations
- Perform first review and approval of factory invoices and relevant export shipment documentation
- Support local logistics teams with domestic wholesale drop-shipments
- Performs other related duties as applicable
- Extensive knowledge of North American wholesaler Direct Import requirements
- Broad knowledge of standard import/export concepts, practices, and procedures
- Experience with Amazon’s mDDP and Target’s First Sale DI programs
- Understanding of supply chain fundamentals and common obstacles
- Proven history of driving the implementation of- and adherence to- complex business practices
- Experience in the consumer goods sector – games, toys, and puzzles a plus
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, and the ability to build consensus around a common goal
- Exceptional organization skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently on projects and function effectively in a team environment
- Proficient with computers utilizing Microsoft based programs
- German language competence a bonus
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in supply chains
- Minimum 3 - years’ experience coordinating Direct Import distribution
- Minimum 3- years’ experience with ERP system
