We are looking to hire a part time Dietary Aide to join our team. This candidate must have weekend and daytime availability.
A Dietary Aide in the food service department is to assist the Dietary Director in meeting the nutritional food requirements of our residents as well as to meet standards of cleanliness and food preparation required by state and federal laws.
This position requires the following qualifications:
- Cleaning and food operation supplies sanitization.
- Preferably experience as a cook in an Independent/Assisted or Supportive Living facility.
- High school diploma or equivalent and successfully complete training as required by State regulations.
- Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations.
- Previous experience working with the elderly.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
- Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
- Must maintain sanitation in the kitchen area.
- Must be able to work weekends and Holiday hours if needed.
