Ravenwood Golf Club is one of the Rochester region’s premier championship courses. When opened in 2003, it was named America’s “5th Best New Public Upscale Course” by Golf Digest.
Architect Robin Nelson is renowned for his lush Hawaiian layouts but added this New York gem to his many masterpieces in 2002. The course has a gently undulating terrain and holes that flow seamlessly from one to the next. Standout holes include the beautifully bunkered par-5 18th and the par 3’s on the back nine strategically guarded by water.
Ravenwood has hosted the 2003 and 2009 New York State Golf Championships, as well as the 2004 U.S. Open Qualifier.
Job Description:
Ravenwood Golf Club is looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented Restaurant Servers to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Servers will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Essential Functions:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and make recommendations when needed.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly and accurately.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Handle payments, including cash and credit card transactions, accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down tables as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Work as a team with other staff to ensure smooth service. Can work jointly as well as independently with little supervision from management.
Qualifications:
- Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic understanding of restaurant service
- Understanding of proper use of major kitchen equipment, polishing and setting tables.
- Understanding and knowledge of food safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
- English language and professional communications skills are required.
- Ability to take complete direction
- Ability to work in a team environment or alone.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a high energy environment.
- Must have problem solving abilities; be self-motivated, clean and organized.
- Organization and leadership skills
- Commitment to provide quality service and food and beverage knowledge.
- Awareness of local, state and federal health and sanitation laws.
- Excellent attendance is required with schedule flexibility determined by business needs.
- Behaves professionally and can be flexible in a changing environment.

- Able to stand 100% of the time.
- Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
Hourly rate: $14.25/hr
