Community Based Child and Family Therapists serve individuals with complex behavioral health and multi-system needs within a holistic wraparound model of integrated healthcare.
Job Duties:
- Provide individual and family counseling, diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention and consultation to children, youth, and their families.
- These services are provided in the home, school and natural environment of the child and family. Services support a resiliency, strengths-based approach emphasizing parent and professional partnerships.
- Provides support and services as a member of an interdisciplinary team of Community Based Child and Family therapists.
Education and Experience:
- Internship/practicum experience providing mental health counseling
- Bachelor or master’s level counselor or social work, marriage & family therapist
- LPC, LSW, MFT, LPCC, LISW, IMFT, LPCC-S, LISW-S, IMFT-S
- CT accepted for a candidate who may be interested in taking this position as a part of their internship
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass background check
