What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Therapist position at Ravenwood Health?
The therapist will provide culturally competent and trauma informed treatment services to individuals and/or families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situation, mental health and/or substance use concerns. The therapist will provide comprehensive assessments, therapy, consultation/case management and make appropriate referrals as needed. This position is ideal for a compassionate and skilled therapist focusing on mental health.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provides high quality, compassionate and ethical counseling to clients individually to meet treatment goals.
- Refer clients to other support services including detoxification, intensive programming, psychiatric services, social services programs, and employment services as needed.
- Maintain detailed and confidential client records in accordance with organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical supervision sessions.
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health and addiction treatment.
- Assess and manage risk on an ongoing basis and adjust level of care and recommendations as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Master's level counselor or social work
- LPC, LSW, MFT, LPCC, LISW, IMFT, LPCC-S, LISW-S, IMFT-S
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass background check
