Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site position for an HR Coordinator at RAVEZ Social Club, located in Richmond, VA. The HR Coordinator will play a critical role in maintaining a positive work environment by managing various HR functions, including conducting first-round interviews, distributing team evaluation surveys, facilitating team engagement activities, and handling terminations when necessary. In this role, you’ll work closely with the management team to ensure that our talent strategy aligns with the club’s culture and goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct first-round interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Design and distribute team evaluation surveys to gauge team performance and satisfaction.
- Coordinate team engagement activities to foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Oversee the termination process with empathy and professionalism when required.
- Manage the club’s LinkedIn and Handshake profiles to attract top talent and increase brand visibility.
- Contact staff about performance or any other issues.
- Manage the onboarding process and weekly payroll.
Preferences
- Experience in HR, recruitment, or team management is a plus.
- Current HR Major or HR degree
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple HR tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and Handshake or a willingness to learn.
- An enthusiastic, people-centered approach to problem-solving and team engagement.
- NO PRIOR HR EXPERIENCE NEEDED! We value attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability over previous experience.
