Environmental Project Manager

Are you ready for the next step in your career? This is where it begins—Ravi Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C. (RE&LS) is seeking a full-time Project Manager in our Environmental Department, with a proven track record of experience working on projects focused in Asbestos, Lead, PCB, and Mold regulations and consulting. As a Project Manager, you will be expected to provide leadership, collaborate and communicate effectively within the department, and exercise project authority.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete projects in a safe, compliant, and timely manner.
• Developing budgets, preparing proposals, and establishing scopes of work and schedules.
• Hold kick-off meetings with staff assigned to the project.
• Plan, oversee, and perform hazardous materials inspections (as needed).
• Develop Plans, Specifications, Text narratives for Abatement Projects
• Attend project meetings throughout the project phases including design and construction phases.
• Provide QA/QC of reports, drawings, and specifications prior to client delivery.
• Coordinate with in-house Designers and Engineers on project drawings.
• Review and approve invoices.
• Assist in the training of staff.
• Maintain Client relationships and satisfaction.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors as necessary to complete projects.
• Coordinate with Professional Architects and Engineers and provide professional consulting services that offer compliant and cost-effective solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of relative project experience on hazardous materials projects (Asbestos, Lead, PCB)
• Valid NYS driver’s License
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training completed and up-to-date
• OSHA 10 training completed and up to date
• NYS Certifications (Asbestos Inspector, Designer, Project Monitor, Mold Assessor)
• United States EPA Lead Risk Assessor (preferred)

COMPENSATION:

• Hourly Rate from $38-$42/hr
