Tasting Room Hospitality Associate

At Ravines, we take pride in crafting exceptional high quality wines that are distributed nationwide. We are committed to providing a unique, enjoyable, and engaging tasting experience for all who visit our tasting rooms in Geneva and Keuka locations. Currently, we are hiring for both locations.

We are seeking team members who can be welcoming, have a positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with people and want to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of wine.

You must be willing to sell wine, recruit wine club members, assist with food and wine merchandising and to contribute to the seamless operation of the tasting room.

Duties for this position will include but not be limited to:

• Conducting wine tastings
• Guiding guests through our wine portfolio
• Sharing knowledge about our wines and the winemaking process
• Sharing the Ravines Story
• Educate customers about the benefits of joining our wine club
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the estate.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

The most important qualities for this role are a positive attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with people. While prior wine experience is preferred, we provide all the training needed to develop your food and wine expertise.

Full time and part-time positions are available. Our starting wage is above industry standard but we offer higher wages to candidates based on their experience and ability. All hospitality team members receive commissions for club sales and are eligible for tips.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
