Distribution Manager

Distribution Manager:

• Oversee daily operations across all warehouse locations
• Supervise, optimize, and improve business procedures, including receiving, delivery, and inventory processes
• Oversee accurate cycle counts and inventory control systems
• Coordinate and maintain delivery and receiving schedules
• Identify and resolve operational issues with minimal supervision
• Generate and analyze weekly and monthly performance reports
• Hire, train, evaluate, and coach distribution team members
• Travel to warehouse locations and work in the warehouses as needed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers
• Track procurement activity, inventory levels, and material specifications
• Ensure team members’ accurate data entry into inventory systems
• Prepare reports on material usage, efficiency, and inventory status
• Resolve labor, material shortages, and schedule disruptions
• Develop and implement strategies to improve material flow
• Address and resolve quality control issues
• Manage all team-related matters including hiring, training, and termination
• Develop and codify business processes, procedures, and policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Successful candidates will have the following qualities:

• 2 years management experience, in a warehouse environment preferred
• 4 year degree in business administration
• Strong business acumen
• Firm grasp of supply chain and inventory management systems
• Strong computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to develop and refine business processes and procedures and codify them for scalability
• Strong customer service skills and perspective
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Analytical thinking with problem solving aptitude
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• A self-starter who takes full responsibility and ownership of their and their teams’ responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
