About the Position
The Grants Manager will play a critical role in securing and maintaining funding that fuels RAW's mission. This full-time role manages a mid-size portfolio of foundations and identifies new funding opportunities from private, community, and family foundations , as well as government agencies . With grants making up 50-60% of our annual operating budget, the Grants Manager will work collaboratively across the organization to develop high-quality proposals and reports that communicate RAW's impact.

What You'll Bring to the Team
Grant and Financial Management : The Grants Manager will oversee foundation and government grant operations, including prospect research, tracking, and reporting. They will support leadership in developing grant strategies and projecting revenue for budget planning, while collaborating with program staff to ensure compliance with all grant requirements.
Grant Writing & Research : The Grants Manager will craft compelling, mission-driven proposals and reports tailored to funders, collaborating with program and leadership staff to identify funding needs and develop proposal strategies. They will conduct ongoing research to identify new funding opportunities, track philanthropic trends, and develop key grant components, including budgets, attachments, and supporting documents.
Foundation Relationships : The Grants Manager will schedule and facilitate meetings and site visits with funders, building and maintaining long-term relationships with foundation administrators. They will represent RAW at external meetings and networking events, while developing and executing annual cultivation and stewardship plans to engage and retain funders.
Additional Responsibilities : The Grants Manager will actively engage in professional development, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of grant-related activities. They will contribute to RAW's culture of innovation by sharing ideas for program improvement and continuously striving to enhance processes.
