Full-Time Opportunity
Job Purpose:
Supports the program treatment and intervention philosophy by providing leadership and instruction for all unit staff, thereby assuring the program’s implementation and practice; teaching and guiding staff with on-going supervision; overseeing unit staffing needs; effectively assisting staff teams to create and sustain a therapeutic culture that recognizes and values progress toward treatment goals and strategies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supports the program treatment and intervention philosophy of Rawhide Youth Services
- Trains, enacts and role models proper implementation of therapeutic intervention strategies
- Oversees day-to-day living unit operations and processes
- Provides crisis support to the living unit as needed
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in a social or behavioral science field (Criminal Justice degree included for Group Home level care)
- Along with 1 to 2 years field work/employment working with the type of resident population served
- Master’s Degree preferred in a social or behavioral science field
- Along with field work/employment working with the type of resident population served
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to engage with youth, including physical restraints
