JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experience land surveyor to join our field and office team. A licensed surveyor with 4 years’ experience, proficient in all aspects of land surveying, boundary, topo, ALTA/ACSM and construction staking. Competency in preparing drawings and report using CADD
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Field Operations: boundary/topographic surveys, construction staking, drone mapping
- Office/Technical: CADD and drafting, boundary analysis, and legal descriptions. Draft Records of Survey, Corner Records, Parcel Maps, ALTA surveys and Topographic Map
- Project Management: client coordination, quality control, executing effective cross-functional collaboration
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- Experience with Trimble GNSS and conventional survey equipment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center
- Valid driver's license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Drone mapping experience
- Experience with Records of Survey, ALTA surveys
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of North Bay property records
- Experience coordinating with County agencies
- FAA Part 107 certification
- GPS savvy

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Operate standard office, drafting and survey equipment
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive to field sites, mountainous roads and operate an ATV
- Vision, hearing, and manual dexterity for computer work and equipment operation
- Ability to perform field work including:
o Walking long distances over steep terrain
o Lifting and carrying equipment up to 45 pounds
o Operating survey equipment and driving stakes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
