Job Title: Employment Community Outreach Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Employment Outreach Coordinator to represent our organization at outreach events, trade shows, schools, and the larger community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forging relationships in the community that promote reciprocal relationships with other establishments including but not limited to employers, schools, civic organizations, Mental Health Boards, and other relevant entities. The Employment Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a Department of Rehabilitation caseload (DRS) for Transitional students that promotes job security, as well as supporting others to secure and maintain employment through Emerge Services. The Employment Outreach Coordinator will also be expected to coordinate and facilitate Job Exploration classes and participate in student’s Individual Educational Plan meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the organization at outreach events, trade shows, schools, and the larger community
- Forge relationships in the community that promote reciprocal relationships with other establishments including but not limited to employers, schools, civic organizations, Mental Health Boards, and other relevant entities
- Maintain a Department of Rehabilitation caseload (DRS) for Transitional students that promotes job security
- Support others to secure and maintain employment through Emerge Services
- Coordinate and facilitate Job Exploration classes
- Participate in student’s Individual Educational Plan meetings
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in outreach and community engagement
- Knowledge of Department of Rehabilitation caseload (DRS) for Transitional students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Salary : $45,000 - $48,000
