Job Title: Facilities Service Lead
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Elmhurst, IL
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Service Lead to join our team. The Facilities Service Lead will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring that they are safe, functional, and well-maintained, utilizing our existing ServiceDesk Plus web-based software and Microsoft Office Suite programs to help balance resources and properly assign work orders to team members. In addition, the (FSL) will create and distribute work orders within the Facilities Management Department to support the RGA mission and will also help with capital improvement projects. The (FSL) is a senior technician and will be knowledgeable of best practices while utilizing his skills to provide oversite to his fellow teammates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and repair, as well as experience leading a team.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that facilities are well-maintained and in good working order
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory records
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure that all maintenance work is completed to a high standard
- Ensure that all facilities are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Must be able to be on-call
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in facilities management or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to facilities maintenance and repair
- Must pass a post offer Drug test
