Service Electrician

Martineau Electric, Inc. based in Dover, NH is an employee‑owned business with a large volume of work in the Seacoast Area. In addition to new construction, we help commercial, industrial, and residential customers in the New Hampshire and southern Maine Seacoast region keep the power flowing and lights on by providing expert troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and maintenance services.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Directly interact with customers regarding service requests and evaluate and document requests on work orders.
- Install new or maintain, and repair existing equipment
- Assess condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and identify needed repairs
- Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects
- Follow established business practices and procedures and complete required reports and forms
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Account for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
- Rotating on-call emergency/afterhours service response
Minimum Requirements:
- One year of licensed experience
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- OSHA 10 Training required; we will train otherwise qualified candidates, if necessary
- Valid driver’s license
- At least one electrical license in NH, ME, or MA licenses and the ability to obtain the others
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly, and occasionally up to 75lbs.
- Proficiency with tablet- and/or PC-based technology preferred
