Bagging Plant Operator

COMPANY PROFILE:
Ray-Mont Logistics is a dynamic organization focused on becoming the essential link in the international business logistics supply chain. We provide various operational logistics services such as loading, transportation and storage of surplus products.
Work schedule: Day shift (5AM-5PM) - 4/3 schedule - working 4 days the first week and 3 days the second week - must be available every second weekend
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Locate and lay out prescribed bags.
- Collect necessary bagging materials.
- Receive production instructions from the Bulk and Bagging Supervisor.
- Review loading instructions.
- Confirm loading plan with Bulk and Bagging Supervisor.
- Confirm shift loading goals with Supervisor and team members.
- Ensure quality assurance standards are met or exceeded by the Hanger, the Loader and the Sewer.
- Prepare for shift transition/shutdown.
- Report any down-time caused by mechanical failure
- Report to Bulk and Bagging Supervisor if shift goals are not met and provide reasons.
- Clean the environment around the machine
- Lift 25 Kg bags that are damaged
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment, an asset
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Comfortable in working outdoors in any weather condition
- A self-starter, autonomous, meticulous, organized and fast paced
