Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and companionship. This position requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of those you serve, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all living spaces are tidy and organized.
• Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, monitoring clients' health and reporting any changes.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
• Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring clients as necessary.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
• Administer first aid when required and respond appropriately to emergencies.

Experience

• Previous experience in assisted living, group home settings, or as a nurse is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is highly valued.
• Skills in meal preparation and cooking are beneficial for providing quality nutrition to clients.
• A strong understanding of cleanliness standards and infection control practices is essential.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but can be obtained during employment.
