Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support to enhance the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques.
Duties
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Conduct direct therapy sessions with clients, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors for analysis.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide support and training as needed.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies for improvement.
Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of client information.
- Experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with children or individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively.
- Strong data collection skills for monitoring client progress and outcomes.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with autism and understanding their unique needs.
- Ability to engage in behavioral health practices that promote positive outcomes.
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles to implement effective interventions.
- Experience in assisting clients with ADLs to foster independence and self-sufficiency.
