Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This is a part-time position, schedule includes coming in at 6pm and leaving at 9-9:30pm on most Fridays & Saturdays. Hourly wage is $10, tip out is included every night. Tip out is 1.5% of sales and typically ranges from $10-$20 per server.
Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with staff to ensure seamless service.
- Assist in pre-bussing, clearing, and turning over tables
- Familiarize yourself with the menu items and daily specials to answer guest inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety.
