  • Advising Clients on Regulatory Matters: Provide guidance to clients on complex regulatory issues affecting electric, natural gas, water utilities, energy companies, and telecommunications providers.
  • Navigating Energy Transitions: Work on high-profile cases involving the energy transition, including siting transmission lines, planning for clean energy mandates, acquiring renewable generation, and decarbonized fuels.
  • Policy and Compliance Support: Assist clients in staying compliant with state and federal energy regulations, including those related to emissions reductions, renewable energy adoption, and energy efficiency initiatives.

  • Client Liaison and Communications: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, clearly communicating complex regulatory issues and potential legal strategies.

Firm Overview

The firm comprises a close-knit team of approximately 10 lawyers who specialize in regulatory, environmental, and business matters in the energy sector. The team works with a wide variety of clients, including utilities and energy companies, to help them address the evolving challenges in the energy sector, including the transition to renewable energy sources, the development of clean energy infrastructure, and ensuring that energy remains affordable for communities and businesses.
