About the Role:
We are hiring Service Technicians across multiple locations in the USA for full-time, direct-hire positions with our clients. This role requires expertise in HVAC systems and boiler service, maintenance, and repair for both commercial and residential sectors. Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, boilers, furnaces, and heating equipment for residential and commercial clients.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and complies with safety regulations.
- Perform installation, replacement, and upgrades of heating and cooling systems, including gas, oil, and electric units.
- Troubleshoot boiler and burner controls, including combustion tuning and efficiency testing.
- Work with various system components, including chillers, rooftop units (RTUs), air handlers, hydronic systems, and steam distribution.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose system issues.
- Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and local HVAC regulations, including refrigerant handling procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical issues and solutions to clients.
- Document service calls, maintain accurate records, and process work orders using company software.
- Work independently and as part of a team, coordinating with dispatchers, supervisors, and other technicians.
- 3 years of experience in HVAC service, boiler maintenance, or heating system repair.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and residential HVAC and boiler systems.
- Experience with burner management systems, hydronic heating, and steam boiler operations.
- EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred).
- Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
- Proficiency in soldering, brazing, and pipefitting.
- Familiarity with automation and control systems, including BAS (Building Automation Systems).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.
