Proven Experience as a Plant Accountant or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Skills RequiredResponsibilities- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and cost reports.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Track and manage inventory and variances, including audits, reconciliations, and analyses.
- Assist with budget preparation and budgetary control for plant operations, including analysis of performance vs. budget.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with plant management to enhance financial performance and business opportunities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Assist in any customer-related issues such as collections, returns, and claims
- Assist plant management in their value creation and cash generation initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Plant Accountant or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing
- sector.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, especially pivot tables.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

This position will be based in Crawfordsville, IN but will be required to travel to Sullivan, IN once a week or as necessary for training.
