Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic 100% FFS state of the Art dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry with an emphasis on patient care and comfort. This role involves providing comprehensive dental services, including preventive, restorative, and surgical procedures, while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety. This is 4 days a week Mon-Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Provide a range of dental treatments including but not limited to fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions.
- Conduct oral surgeries and endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Uphold aseptic techniques in all clinical procedures to maintain a safe environment.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry and pediatric care is preferred.
- Experience with medical records management and adherence to HIPAA standards.
- Proficiency in oral surgery techniques and endodontics is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
